A peer review is like an expanded endorsement. An endorsement is a thumbs up, but a peer review goes into more depth to give you an idea of why one professional would specifically recommend another professional. We think of these as "going above and beyond" in recommending a counselor!
An endorsement is essentially one professional giving another professional a thumbs up. It's a quick way for them to say something like "I know you are a great therapist" or "I would send my friends and family to you." For potential clients, we believe a professional to professional endorsement is like a peek behind the curtain so that you can see who therapists would refer to!

Welcome!
Throughout my career I have worked with children, families and adults in many different settings finding myself becoming more and more passionate about supporting individual and family healing after traumatic events.
I currently work with adults and young people who feel overwhelmed, have relationship challenges, or are struggling to move forward after a painful life event/trauma. When we avoid facing distressing emotions or experiences, it can create more chaos in our lives leading to feelings of hopelessness and more pain. In therapy, we will explore together how your past experiences are impacting your present and potentially inhibiting you from the personal growth you strive for. You will learn ways to share your emotions and needs, develop healthy ways to cope with life’s challenge and improve your overall well-being.
As a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist, I understand the complexities of how trauma impacts the brain and body. The main trauma modality I use in my practice is Emotional Transformation Therapy (ETT). ETT is an “attachment based” form of interpersonal therapy whose outcomes are substantially amplified by precise visual brain stimulation.
I am also actively working to become a Certified Sexual and Relational Trauma Therapist (CSRTT) through the Society for the Advancement of Sexual Health (SASH). Through this continued education I have advanced training in the treatment of betrayal trauma that results from intimate partner betrayal. I've also received advanced training in problematic sexual behaviors/sex addiction and know the devastating toll these patterns can have on romantic relationships and feelings of self-worth. I can help lead you forward on a path toward healing and hope.
Through my practice I have learned to appreciate how one individual’s challenges can impact family dynamics and relationships. This experience with family healing allows me to examine the familial perspective and guide towards healing as a family unit.
I am happy to speak with you to see if I am the right person to help you get started on your path toward healing.
